Line managers frequently need information or advice to allow
them to deal with HR issues. The information needed might
range from current salaries for people in their unit, through to
specific questions on fair employment or harassment legislation.
Through our helpline service we provide a speedy response to
queries using a variety of media:
- By phone.
- By e-mail.
- Through a number of 'How To" guides supplied on our web
site. These guides cover many of the issues regularly
encountered by managers. They will be extended and
enhanced over time.
You can think of the help line as your own friendly HR
advisor, who's always there to give you information or advice at
